Family Law
Aidan completed pupillage with a master practising predominately in Personal Injury and Professional Negligence. During his pupillage he spent significant time shadowing barristers specialising in Family, Criminal, Judicial Review, Employment, Chancery and Commercial Law. Aidan was an active member of the QUB Law Society during his time at Queen’s University, Belfast and was the mooting officer on the 2007/08 committee. Prior to coming to the Bar, Aidan was the Vice President for Community at Queen’s Students’ Union for two years, where he represented 24,000 students and dealt with a wide range of areas from housing to disciplinary issues. Aidan represented Northern Ireland in the International Mediation Competition in Chicago in which he was ranked as the Best Overall Individual Mediator.
Aidan completed his degree at Queen’s University, Belfast. He completed his postgraduate diploma in Professional Legal Studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and was awarded a Distinction.

In Civil Proceedings he has experience preparing cases for both Plaintiffs and Defendants.
