Biography

I was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2008 and completed pupillage at One Brick Court, a specialist media law chambers in London. I was involved in defamation, privacy, data protection and confidentiality cases, as well as advisory work such as libel reading. I came to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2009 and since then I have enjoyed a varied practice, with a focus on civil litigation. In the Commercial Court, I have been instructed in a range of cases involving breach of contract, insurance issues, defective products, construction disputes and guarantee agreements. I have extensive experience in personal injury cases, at County Court level and also in the High Court, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants. As part of a wide-ranging civil practice, I have been involved in judicial review, mediation, construction adjudication, criminal injuries compensation appeals and have appeared before Land, Employment and Mental Health Review Tribunals.
