Martin O‘Brien provides advice, assistance and representation in a wide range of Employment Law cases to Claimants and Respondents in the public and private sector, and has acted as Counsel in a number of leading cases in the field of Employment & Discrimination Law. He has also acted in Crown Court trials, and appeared in a number of liquor licensing cases. In addition to providing advocacy in Tribunals, he has twenty three years of experience in acting in a number of cases in the County Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal involving, amongst other issues, personal injury, professional standards and property rights.

Martin O’Brien specialises in Employment & Discrimination Law, Criminal Law, Human Rights and Liquor Licensing. He is a lecturer at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in Belfast, where he lectures in Crown Court procedure, Employment Tribunals, Bar Ethics and Liquor Licensing law and procedure. Martin O‘Brien is a member of the Honourable Society of King’s Inns, Dublin and was called to the Bar of Ireland in 1998.
