Michael was called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2012. Since then he has practised in a wide range of areas dealing mainly with criminal, family and judicial review.

Queen’s University, Belfast: L.L.M Human Rights and Criminal Justice (Commendation)
Institute of Professional Legal Studies: Diploma in Professional and Legal Studies (Commendation)
Michael has had experience in a wide range of areas to date including Criminal, Bankruptcy, Family, Employment and Civil Law. He has also had experience in Parole Commissioner’s hearings and Judicial Review proceedings arising from these hearings against the Prison Service and Parole Commissioners for Northern Ireland.
