Nicholas is currently accepting instructions in all practice areas. In particular, Nicholas has interest and experience in civil and family law matters.
Nicholas enjoys a varied civil practice, regularly appearing for both plaintiffs and defendants in the County Court and High Court. Nicholas represents a variety of individuals, sole traders, limited companies, and public authorities. He is particularly interested in personal injury, professional negligence, inquests, judicial review, insolvency and probate.
Nicholas regularly accepts instructions in all areas of family law including divorce and ancillary relief, harassment injunctions, public and private law children’s cases including adoption, child abduction, and non-accidental injury.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Nicholas was a Legal Executive in a fast-paced Northern Irish law firm. Nicholas dealt primarily with high value ancillary relief cases and has experience in dealing with a wide range of assets including private companies, partnerships, pensions and farms. He also gained experience in dealing with inquests, chancery matters and Crown Court cases.
At Queen’s University Belfast, Nicholas was selected to compete at the All Ireland, International Humanitarian Law, Irish Red Cross, Corn Adomnain Competition, achieving a second-place finish with a team of his peers. He was also selected to compete in Nuremburg at the International Criminal Law Moot Competition, where he and his team placed third internationally.
