Biography

Called to the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2010. General practice, with particular interest in: Criminal law; Children Order applications, both public and private law; Family Homes and Domestic Violence Order and Protection from Harassment Order cases; Matrimonial finance, including ancillary relief, on separation and divorce.

Experience

Wide experience of all aspects of criminal defence work.

Conduct of varied Children Order cases across all tiers of family courts, to include: Applications for care and/or supervision orders, Emergency removal of children, Freeing for adoption, Relocation, Change of name or school, Contact and residence.

Regularly appear in Domestic Proceedings Court and County Court in matters involving domestic violence, family or neighbour disputes and harassment.

Experience in advising on, drafting and conducting divorce and ancillary relief proceedings.
