BARRISTER & SOLICITOR LOG IN

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Inn of Court of Northern Ireland and the Bar Council of Northern Ireland was held on December 17.

Presenting his first Chairman’s Annual Report, Bernard Brady QC reflected on the profound impact the pandemic has had on the profession.

“Upon taking up office, I expressed a determination that the Bar would summon up a resilience and adaptability that is characteristic of the profession and that it would not let the devastating impact of the pandemic define it. I remain of that view. This report outlines that despite the most challenging of circumstances the Bar Council has succeeded in delivering on an encouragingly broad range of areas and has a very clear plan and aims for its next two years in office.”
